Phone Insurance

Phone insurance is not usually your first thought when you get a new phone.

But when you realise the actual cost of replacing your phone if it were stolen, lost or damaged then you will probably be wide-eyed and rushing to get your mobile phone insurance policy.

Becaue theh truth is that your phone, if you go tit on a contract, was hugely discouunted.  This is because you agreed to a long period of promising your business to your chosen mobile phone network provider.  So the network knows they will get your money for the next 12, 18 or 24 months – so they know they can afford to discount the cost of the handset to get you to sign that contract.

But once you are IN that contract they have no incentive to discount the cost of the handset – for example if you should need a replacement phone.

So the phone really costs a few hundred pounds.  Hence the need for phone insurance
